Oradea is an important node of regional and European transport, being located at the convergence of the two trans-European networks that cross Romania on the east-west direction, respectively the European road E60 (Cluj-Napoca, Brașov, Sibiu, Bucharest) and the north-south axis, to which #Oradea is connected to by DN76 (Maramureș, Timișoara, Deva, Danube). Oradea is a railway node for links with European countries, through the border crossing Episcopia Bihor. The city is easily accessible, with direct railway links to the most important cities of Romania (Constanța, Brașov, Bucharest, Timișoara, etc.), but also to important European ones. Passengers from the country or coming from/going to Central and Western Europe transit the Central Station and the peripheral stations.
